The Skyline 10-01 solar thermal collector is enclosed with a twin-wall polycarbonate plastic glazing in place of glass. The Skyline 10-01 is available in a length of 6ft, width of 20in and thickness of 3in. The double walled polycarbonate glazing of the Skyline 10-01 solar thermal collector is UV protected. The copper solar absorber plate has a black crystal coating for efficient performance. This collector from SolarRoofs.com is insulated with rigid foam. It has a 1in insulation on the bottom and 1/2in insulation on the side to retain heat. The recommended flow rate of this collector ranges from .20 to .6GPM. The propylene glycol, which has a capacity of .15 gallon, is used as the heat transfer fluid.
