Sullivan Solar Power has completed numerous solar electric system installation projects in both the residential and commercial sectors. The installation of the IBEW 59 solar electric system is the first commercial project completed by the company at Southern California.
The IBEW 59 solar electric system generates a maximum of 75000 watts of AC power. It comprises different components such as an inverter, solar modules and a mounting unit. The inverter used in this solar electric power system, installed by Sullivan Solar Power, is an SMA SB6000U model. A total of 18 inverters have been used in this power system.
The solar module of the electric power system is a Sharp ND-208U1 model, while the mounting unit used is a Sullivan engineered superstructure. A total of 430 Sharp modules have been incorporated in this solar electric power system set up by Sullivan Solar Power. The engineered superstructure, made of steel, was specifically incorporated for eliminating multiple roof obstacles. With the installation of this steel superstructure, it became easy to elevate the complete solar array unit above the roof surface.
The IBEW 59 solar electric system consisted of 18 inverters for safeguarding situations in which one of the inverter stopped functioning. This electric system from Sullivan Solar Power operates at an ambient temperature condition of 64 degree Fahrenheit and cell temperature of 63 degree Fahrenheit. It has the capability to withstand a wind speed of one mile per hour.
