PV Powered manufactures grid-tied solar inverters for residential and commercial applications. The residential inverters are available in different models. The PVP2000 residential solar inverter is an UL 98 Standard inverter, with integrated disconnect feature, meeting the inspection and installation needs of a PV system Disconnect.
The PVP2000 solar inverter incorporates an UL 98 Standard switch mechanism known as “Enclosed and Dead Front Switches”. Its single AC/DC switch is visible and can be locked while in off position. This inverter from PV Powered is available in a wall surface enclosure design. This direct-to-wall surface design enables users to install and access the system easily. Its internal wire channels that are NEC compliant allows for a leveled mounting. With the integration of PV system disconnect and inverter, extra equipment required for the installation of inverter is eliminated. Interconnections are minimized from 12 to 4 points to save both material costs and installation time. The knockouts are placed for different conduit routing.
The PVP2000 residential solar inverter has a continuous output power of 2,000W. Its maximum DC input voltage is 500V and the minimum start voltage is 130V. The operating range of the DC voltage of this inverter is from 115 to 450V. The maximum current, nominal current and continuous current rates of the solar inverter are 26A, 18A and 9A, respectively. Its AC output voltage ranges from 211V to 264V. The PVP2000 solar inverter measures with a height of 30-3/8 inches, width of 15-5/8 inches and depth of 8-1/4 inches.
