MJD Mechanical designs and installs a range of geothermal heating and cooling systems. There are different types of equipment utilized for geothermal installation including forced air systems, hydronic systems, and combined systems. The forced air systems are available in two models, namely, Boreas and Zephyrus. The Zephyrus forced air heating and cooling system is designed for colder climates. It is made specifically to heat and cool areas that require heating and some cooling also.
The desuperheater option of the Zephyrus forced air heating and cooling system enables the heat pump to generate hot water for domestic use. It can be mounted in a crawlspace, drop ceiling and in closets. The heat pump controller is programmed to control and monitor this heating and cooling system to increase its efficiency. This forced air system offered by MJD Mechanical incorporates a LCD screen to message or notify users when problems arise. It has R-410A refrigerant to absorb and release heat efficiently. The Copeland compressor or the sealed scroll compressor provides efficient performance.
The Zephyrus forced air heating and cooling system incorporates oversized heat exchangers, insulated pipes, fully insulated and ceramic coated steel cabinet, Schrader ports, analog temperature sensors, continuous fan and 2-inch air filters to provide efficient heating and cooling. The size of this geothermal heating and cooling system ranges from 1.5 to 5.5 ton. This system is available in vertical or horizontal versions.
