Dowling Stoves makes the Sumo multi fuel stove that has a broad door for loading big logs. As the wood burning stove features a large fire box surface area, it is suitable for use as a boiler. The fireplace with a double skinned water jacket helps to use the stove as a boiler for domestic water heating. The wood stove is available in four heating capacities that are 8, 12, 18 and 25 kilowatts.
The Sumo multi fuel stove features a design that offers safety. The fuel stays in the centre to provide efficient combustion, without any problems. The shape of the wood burning stove helps easy circulation of air. With a big surface area, the heat is produced fast. The multi fuel stove, offered by Dowling Stoves, can be designed as double sided to provide heat to two rooms, or as free standing to heat up single room.
The wood stove incorporates an upper body made of 8mm steel plate, while the jaw grate is made of 25mm steel plate. The Sumo multi fuel stove does not include fire bars, internal baffles, rope seals, and firebricks. Hence, no part of the stove needs to be replaced, except for the glass panel, if it breaks. The boiler of the stove is made with 6mm steel plate and is tested to a maximum pressure of 70psi.
