Efm Automatic Heat manufactures a range of boilers including the DF520 coal stoker model. The multifuel coal boiler burns hard coal, anthracite coal, and biomass as well. The boiler works effectively with anthracite rice coal. The coal burning boiler provides a dust free clean operation. The biomass boiler is equipped with a Trombone style hot water coil that is made of copper. As the coal stoker boiler includes extended connections and coil flanges, it eliminates the possibility of hidden leaks.
The DF520 coal stoker boiler features completely automated feed and control. The biomass boiler, offered by Efm Automatic Heat, is provided with an optional oil burner kit to provide oil heat during summer. The coal heat is used in winter. The boiler shell of the coal boiler is designed as per the ASME code. The stocker of the coal boiler is enclosed gear driven and it is ratchet.
The firing rates of the coal boiler ranges from 2.5 to 25 pounds of coal for one hour. The heat output of the biomass burning boiler ranges between 21,470 and 214,690 British thermal units per hour. The optional oil kit gives a heat output of 157,000 British thermal units per hour. The recommended chimney size for the boiler is 8 x 8 x 30 inches. The approximate shipping weight of the multifuel boiler is 1,250 pounds.
