Northern Heat Pump manufactures the Xterrra Series Aqua2 geothermal heat pump that is a water-to-water model. The heat pump is designed for use in cooling systems or hydronic heating. The geothermal heat pump provides cooling or heating by transferring water temperature energy from the ground. The heat pump is used for various applications such as heating water for floor heating, air conditioning by using fan coil units, pool heating, and domestic water heating.
The Xterrra Series Aqua2 geothermal heat pump can do more operational savings, if it is combined with a desuperheater. The geothermal heat pump is available in different sizes ranging from 1.5 to 15 tons. The water-to-water heat pump can be controlled either by a conventional or digital thermostat. The maximum efficiency of the heat pump is 400 percent. Every Aqua2 geothermal heat pump is factory performance tested before it is shipped. The heat pump is provided with horizontal, top, and bottom discharge so that it can adapt to different applications.
The Xterrra Series Aqua2 geothermal heat pump is equipped with Copeland scroll compressors. The panel of the heat pump is removable and provides easy access for servicing the internal parts. The geothermal heat pump, offered by Northern Heat Pump, also includes a return air filter rack with filter. The heat pump can also be provided with quality filters as optional. The cabinet of the heat pump is insulated and is made of stainless steel.
