Hawken Energy manufactures different models of wood burning furnaces including the HE-1100 model. The biomass furnace has the capacity to heat about 4,000 square feet. The wood burning furnace offers trouble free operation with no repair or shut down. The chimney cap of the outdoor furnace is made of stainless steel. The firebox is round in shape and it is equipped with a 4-inch thick door.
HE-1100 Wood Burning Furnace
The HE-1100 wood burning furnace features fiberglass R19 insulation. The flow filter is visible and it is made of stainless steel. The flow filter does not need to be replaced. As the wood furnace provides very hot burn, the ash outcome is less. The large loading door of the furnace is situated at waist height. The rear door can be easily accessed. The biomass furnace, offered by Hawken Energy, is equipped with 1/6 HP pump.
The HE-1100 wood burning furnace includes a light at the outside to facilitate night time loading. The installation of the furnace does not require concrete pads. Other features of the furnace include a fan forced draft, and a non-stock door gasket. The heat output of the wood heating system is 225,000 BTU, and the water capacity is 150 gallons. The dimensions of the wood furnace are 56.75 x 83.5 x 83.75 inches, with a footprint area of 48.5 x 55 inches. The weight of the wood furnace is 1,750 pounds.
