Lamppa Manufacturing produces the Kuuma Vapor Fire 100 furnace, a gasification wood furnace, which converts wood into gas and burns the gas. The biomass furnace does not generate smoke for up to 95 percent of the time. With less smoke, the vapor fire wood furnace eliminates the need to clean the chimney. The biomass furnace is featured with an electronic control to regulate the burning rate. The furnace is designed with a warp free door.
As the Kuuma Vapor Fire 100 wood furnace has low smoke emission, it does not include a catalytic converter. The combustion chamber of the gasification chamber is brick lined and is insulated all around with thick ceramic. The outside shell and door handles of the heating system are always cool to touch. The wood burning furnace is also equipped with an alarm system to alert in case of over heating. The logs are burned in the natural way from front to rear, under controlled condition.
The Kuuma Vapor Fire 100 furnace features an average internal stack temperature of 176 degrees Celsius, due to which the heat extraction efficiency of the furnace is high. The vapor fire furnace offers two speed options that are 250 and 1,200 cubic feet per minute. The heating capacity of the furnace is 30,000 to 40,000 BTU per hour. The wood furnace, offered by Lamppa Manufacturing, can heat a maximum area of 3200 square feet.
