The Nordic R-Series geothermal heat pump, offered by Progressive Geothermal Solutions, is a liquid-to-air heat pump. It is used for closed loops or open water wells, active cooling and heating hot water for domestic use.
Nordic R-Series Liquid-to-Air Heat Pump
The Nordic R-Series liquid-to-air heat pump is an active cooling package unit designed to provide mechanical cooling. It is suitable for geothermal ground loops or well water. As a result of high fluid temperatures, this active cooling system can be used for the geothermal ground loop application. This heat pump offered by Progressive Geothermal Solutions provides more cooling in 4 and 5HP ranges. The heating and cooling modes have a domestic hot water option to provide hot water for domestic purposes.
The Nordic R-Series liquid-to-air heat pump is offered in 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5 and 5.75HP versions. This liquid-to-water unit has a domestic hot water desuperheater package, Taco slow closing water valve kit and a removable filter rack. It is equipped with Turbotec Turbotec coaxial water heat exchangers and the cupronickel heat exchangers. The heat exchanger, water lines and accumulator are fully insulated. The Nordic R-Series features an oversized evaporator to improve the efficiency of the heat pump.
