Solland Solar Offers Sunweb Back-Contact Solar Cells

Solland Solar develops and produces special and standard six inch multicrystalline photovoltaic solar cells. The solar cells available from the company are: back-contact cells, standard cells and B2B. The back-contact solar cell technology is developed in cooperation with ECN. The Sunweb back-contact solar cell from the company is based on “metal wrap through” technology. Its extra surface area captures sunlight to provide higher output.

The Sunweb back-contact solar cell from Solland Solar is sorted and tested individually for electrical performance. Each of this solar cell is inspected visually for aesthetic and mechanical faults. This cell also undergoes parallel and hot spot resistance testing for low light effect. The back-contact solar cell offered by Solland Solar is made of multicrystalline silicon material. The back-contact solar cell measures 156 x 156mm and is available with the thickness of 180 micrometer, 200 micrometer, and 220 micrometer.

The Sunweb back-contact solar cell has 15 collector contacts and 16 emitter contacts. It is designed with blue anti-reflective coating and has line screen printed metallization.  The Sunweb156PS380 has a power of 3.80W, open circuit voltage of 0.611V and short circuit current of 8.08A. The efficiency of this back-contact solar cell provided by Solland Solar is 15.6%.
