Terra Geothermal Offers Premium G Series Ground Source Geothermal Heat Pumps

Terra Geothermal supplies and installs ground source heat pumps. The company utilizes forced air systems, hydronic systems and controls in their Platinum GeoExchange installation package. The Premium G series ground source heat pump manufactured by GeoSmart (WaterFurnace) is a forced air system. It uses the R-410A refrigerant, which has non-ozone depleting features.

The Premium G series ground source heat pump is equipped with a variable speed ECM blower motor having 12 airflow selections for energy saving and smooth operation. The air coil has FormiShield coating to resist corrosion. This forced air system supplied by Terra Geothermal includes an electronic overflow protection to get rid of the condensate flooding. The drain pan is made of plastic and it is corrosion-proof. The Premium G series uses Copeland Scroll compressor either in single or dual capacity models. The dual capacity scroll compressors help the G series units to switch to lower capacity with mild temperatures and switch once again to full capacity with higher temperatures.

The microprocessor control incorporated with the Premium G series ground source heat pump controls the components for efficient performance. It communicates with thermostat to display service messages. The ComfortAlert module monitors the operation of the compressor for easy troubleshooting. The cabinet of this forced air system is made of stainless steel with a blue finish. It is insulated with a foil backed insulation. The LED status lights display faults or normal operation. The Premium G series can be installed as vertical loops, horizontal loops, open loops and pond loops.
