St. Croix Corn & Pellet Stoves manufactures a range of pellet stoves including the Afton Bay. The pellet hopper of the stove has a capacity of 65 pounds. The pellet stove is designed with full pedestal ash drawer. The biomass stove incorporates a self cleaning grate that is known as VersaGrate. This grate system drops the residual ash into the stove’s ash drawer.
The Afton Bay wood pellet stove includes ash drawers in the front that are easy to access. The wood pellet stove also burns corn, rye and wheat. The biomass stove features a clinker removal system, which eliminates the stirring mechanism, for clean burning. The clinker removal system helps to increase the burning time. The pellet stove, offered by St. Croix Corn & Pellet Stoves, does not require to be shut down to remove the fuel expended clinkers.
The Afton Bay wood pellet stove comprises a digital control panel that provides five heat settings, SmartStart, thermostat option, touch control, manual auger feed button, power on and off, and selection of manual or thermostat mode. The fuel hopper of the biomass stove is easy to fill, as it is top loaded. The pellet stove is available with optional upgrades with gold or nickel finish. Other optional features provided with the stove include pellet conversion kit, large ceramic glass, in-built tube scraper, and stainless steel heat exchanger.
