Sunelco supplies the Kyocera brand of solar modules. The KC-130TM solar module generates a maximum power of 130 watts at a maximum current and voltage of 7.39 amperes and 17.6 volts. The open circuit voltage and short circuit current of this solar module are 21.9 volts and 8.02 amperes respectively. The module from Sunelco has an overall conversion efficiency of over 15 percent and is manufactured using multicrystalline solar cells, which are available in overall sizes of four inches and six inches.
The KC-130TM solar module comprises a tempered glass front, polyvinyl fluoride backing and an ethyl vinyl acetate pottant. The polyvinyl fluoride backing protects the module from harsh environmental conditions. The anodized aluminum frame of the KC-130TM solar module imparts structural strength as well as facilitates easy installation.
The efficiency of the Kyocera solar module from Sunelco results in minimal space utilization as compared to other modules generating similar power output. The KC-130TM solar module have been tested using numerous tests that include field exposure test, thermal shock test, thermal cycling test, hail impact test, salt mist test, light and water exposure test, electrical isolation test, mechanical test, freezing and high humidity cycling test and twist loading test and wind test.
