SANYO Solar has successfully commissioned its PV silicon manufacturing plant located in Salem, Oregon on schedule. SANYO North America Corporation announced a partnership with InSpec Group to provide Total Energy Solutions for customers who are attempting to reduce carbon dioxide emission, energy consumption as well as to improve the operating efficiencies in their facilities.
A new division has been created by InSpec, InSpec Energy Solutions, as part of the initiative to carry out wide market adoption of resource conservation and energy efficiency projects including high-efficiency HVAC systems, utility-scale and commercial solar integration, and other eco-friendly products. The operations in customer’s facility will be evaluated by InSpec Group and provide solutions that will help them to cut down waste and improve cost performance.
Taro Toyoda, Chief Operations Officer for the InSpec Group, said that company is delighted to partner with SANYO. Toyoda said SANYO offers technology and products in environment and energy sector that the company can use to achieve its goal of utility and commercial scale integration in its projects.
A PV-array project with a capacity of 166kW has been successfully completed by InSpec Group near Portland’s international airport. The SANYO HIT Power solar modules comprised in the system is capable of converting at higher efficiency than any other module that is currently available in the market.
