This wood stove is equipped with four convection pipes that go through the top part of the firebox. These pipes cool the hot fumes and at the same time heat the ambient air inside the room. The cool air sucked up by the heater is released at a temperature of 150 degrees Celsius through the top vent. The Contura C550 wood burning stove has a cast iron top used as a hot plate for heating food. It is equipped with a 5mm louvered steel top to increase the air circulation. The soapstone top has heat-retention properties. There is a practical log store for storing the logs.
The Contura C550 wood burning stove has heat output ranging from 3 to 7kW. It measures a height of 1010mm, depth of 438mm and a width of 496mm, and weighs 100kg. This wood stove supplied by Wendron Stoves is available in black or grey lacquered finish. It includes soapstone or tilted sides and tops. The plinth and plinth drawer are available as option.
