Solar Wind Works supplies a range of wind power products including wind turbines. The Proven wind turbines are available in four models, namely WT600 (600W), WT2500 (2.5kW), WT6000 (6kW) and WT15000 (15kW). The WT600 model has downwind configuration. It is a stable turbine that requires no separate tail. This wind generator is designed with a blade technology, which helps the turbine to operate off-load without over-speeding.

Proven WT600 Wind Turbine

The Proven WT600 wind turbine is made of galvanized steel, stainless steel or has plastic throughout. Having a permanent magnet generator with low RPM, this wind turbine can generate maximum output in an extensive range of wind speeds. This wind generator provided by Solar Wind Works contributes low noise output with its shaped blade tips and low RPM. As there is no gearbox in the wind turbine no maintenance is required.

The Proven WT600 wind turbine’s rated power capacity is 600W. It has a rated wind speed of 26mph and cut-in wind speed of 6mph, and can stand against a wind speed of 145mph. The type of rotor used is self regulating and downwind. This rotor has a diameter of 8.4ft. This wind generator from Solar Wind Works is equipped with three blades made of polypropylene.
