Research and Markets has released a new report titled “2010 Deep Research Report on China PV Power Station."
Since 2008, China has become the largest solar module producer in the world, accounting for 40% of the output. The output from Taiwan is also included in this data. With less than 1% demand for PV products in the local market, Chinese manufacturers export almost all of the solar cell module production. However, with the introduction of building photovoltaic subsidy policy in March 2009 and Golden Sun policy by the Chinese government in July 2009, the local demand for photovoltaic products has picked up. A demand of 640 MW has been created after the introduction of government incentives.
However, the most important on-grid price policy has not yet been issued by the Chinese government and the authors of the report expect it to be introduced in 2010. The demand for photovoltaic products will increase significantly with the introduction of on-grid price policy in China. The authors of the report are hoping for the best from this policy based on the strategies and estimates from the senior Chinese government officials. It is anticipated that by the end of year 2020, the Chinese photovoltaic industry will have 20 GW of total installed capacity and this data is consistent with the prediction of energy bureau.
This report “2010 Deep Research Report on China PV Power Station" provides in-depth analysis of the Chinese PV power plants. The report has eight chapters with first chapter providing overview of the solar energy and its related resources. It provides details of various subsidy policies related to photovoltaic industry including some important municipal and provincial policies and national policies. Photovoltaic power plant design and construction and other related information are also provided in this report. The report also provides detail about grid projects with more than 10 MW capacity and related data on different types of projects such as on-grid, roof, off-grid, Golden Sun, energy-saving, crystalline silicon, China Guangdong Nuclear Power Plants, thin film etc.
