Power-Save Energy Company announced that it has secured a contract from California Power-Save to deliver a complete photovoltaic solar power system. The system will be installed on lighted billboard located in Sonoma County, California. Capitalizing on the incentives under the Sonoma County Energy Independence Program, Power-Save Energy Company and California Power-Save will be installing complete solar systems on Veale Investment Properties’ lighted billboards.
The 1.225k grid-tie solar systems proposed to be installed on the billboards will also include high-efficiency lighting. Veale Investment Properties through the various incentives from Renewable Energy Federal Grant Program, Sonoma County Energy Independence Program and Local Utility is allowed to convert their traditional lighted billboards into green billboards with no upfront costs.
Owner of California Power-Save, Chris Frye, said this provides an excellent opportunity for the company to design and install solar power systems on standard billboards and convert it to green billboards. He noted that there are thousands of billboards throughout America and billboard owners and advertisers are carrying out green initiatives. Chris Frye said that Sonoma County is in the forefront to demonstrate how renewable implementation can enhance the profits for businesses across America through adequate financing.
Power-Save Energy Company CEO, Michael Forster, said that the company will be marketing this unique engineered solar system to billboard owners throughout America. He anticipated that the system with its high-efficiency lighting has high growth potential in the solar market.
