The biomass fireplace features advanced energy technology. The pellet fireplace burns various types of biomass fuels such as shelled corn, wheat, sunflower seeds, and wood pellets of standard, premium and high ash kinds. The fireplace emits soot, below one gram per hour.

The Edge 60 wood pellet burning fireplace adjusts its settings automatically to suit different biomass fuels. The fireplace is equipped with a 7-day programmable wall thermostat that can be used to select the requirements. The thermostat includes various features such as a low fuel indicator, back lit display, Firepot auto self clean system, language selection, fuel selection, and built-in diagnostics. The thermostat controls room temperature, adjusts the heat output, and switches to 12-volt power automatically.
The Edge 60 wood pellet burning fireplace is available with four types of front, namely, curve, Tuscan bar, studio and natural. The efficiency of the wood pellet fireplace is more than 80 percent. The heat input of the fireplace is 60,000 BTU per hour. It can heat an area of 2,500 square feet. The maximum feed rate of the biomass fireplace is 8 pounds of fuel per hour. The pellet fireplace, provided by Fireside Hearth & Home, has a hopper capacity of 430 pounds.
