Great Lakes Plumbing & Heating provides Pyrot 150 wood fired boilers, manufactured by Viessmann. The wood boiler incorporates a rotary combustion chamber, featuring advanced combustion technology. The feed auger in the boiler moves wood onto the grate continuously. The wood is gasified in the grate with the help of the primary air. The gases then rise into the combustion chamber, where they blend with secondary air, with the help of rotation blower’s spin impulses. This results in full combustion of the wood fuel.
The Pyrot 150 wood fired boiler features modulating output control and triple pass heat exchanger. With the triple-pass heat exchanger, the boiler provides optimum heat transfer. The primary and secondary airs of the boiler are precisely controlled to provide lower emissions and higher efficiency. The wood fired heating system features automatic de-ashing and so requires low maintenance. On demand, the boiler is provided with flue gas deduster and pneumatic cleaning system.
The Pyrot 150 wood fired boiler gives an output of 150 kilowatts, with an efficiency of 85 percent. The maximum operating pressure of the boiler is either 30 or 60psig. The wood fired boiler is also provided as a completely containerized package to install in situations where boiler housing is not available. The wood fired boiler, offered by Great Lakes Plumbing & Heating, measures 70 inches in height, 92 inches in length, and 40 inches in width.
