Forcefield provides a range of wind turbine kits. The 7-foot diameter wind turbine is installed on a 50-foot tower. This wind turbine has a single rotor with a rated power capacity of 300W. The 7-foot diameter wind turbine is a smaller version of axial flux wind turbine and it is suitable for 12V systems.
The 7-foot diameter wind turbine offered by Forcefield includes assembled alternator, tail vane, blades, required hardware for assembling the machine and the user’s manual. The user’s manual has information on 7-foot diameter and 10-foot diameter turbines. The 7-foot diameter wind turbine is manufactured in the company’s off grid shop that can be run with solar or wind power. All the wooden parts of the wind turbine kit such as tail vane, blades and blade hubs are applied with finishing, and then the wind turbine is assembled. The tower, diversion regulator, 3 phase rectifier and other parts are also provided by the user.
The 7-foot diameter wind turbine from the company is constructed to charge batteries and users have to specify the setup voltage, and this machine is designed to suit only the 12V systems. Its rated output is 300W, sustained output is 500W and peak output is over 800W. The 7-foot diameter wind turbine blades are hand carved and the holes in the blades and hubs are drilled to make the system’s assembling easy and simple. Metal works of this wind turbine kit are powder coated. The trailer hub, which uses tapered roller bearings make the alternator run.
