GS Series Geothermal Heat Pump

The cabinet of the GS Series geothermal heat pump is made of heavy-gauge Galvalume plus with aluminum-zinc alloy and an acrylic coating. This heat pump incorporates a ECM fan motor with GE ECM technology for precise speed control and for energy savings. This ECM fan motor is 20 to 30% more efficient compared to a standard motor. It maintains constant airflow under different operating conditions. The oversized blower has a balanced wheel to provide silent operation. This heat pump supplied by K.C.S. is equipped with a drain pan made of stainless steel. There is an insulated water heat exchanger to stop condensation at low temperatures.

The GS Series geothermal heat pump incorporates a UPM solid state controller designed to increase the efficiency of the system.  The other features in the geothermal heat pump are electromechanical controls, low pressure bypass timer, high pressure switch delay, anti-short cycle timer, LED indicators, intelligent reset, lockout reset, and malfunction output. Four sided filter rack, heat recovery system and emergency electric heater are available as options.
