Catskill Mountain Wind Management Accepts Mass Megawatts Wind Power’s New Augmenter System

Catskill Mountain Wind Management has accepted the latest version of Augmenter System developed by Mass Megawatts Wind Power. Successful demonstration of a new Augmenter System was one of the preconditions for Catskill's purchase from Mass Megawatts of several demonstrations units that are to be deployed across New York State to promote Multi-Axis Turbosystem (MAT) and Augmenter System.

As per the agreement, the new version of Augmenter System developed by Wind Management should be installed and establish an augmentation benchmark of more than 50% for a period of more than a month. Mass Megawatts has achieved 70% augmentation level for its Augmenter system installed on its Hunter project located in New York and maintained it for more than 30 days with an average 70% increase in wind velocity.

Catskill Mountain Wind Management and Mass Megawatts have jointly financed the Hunter project. The project is located in Water Remediation Facility in the Hunter Township and will provide power to the facility. Both Mass Megawatts and Catskill Mountain worked together to complete Hunter project’s first phase and was delighted to accomplish the augmentation benchmark of 50%. Both the companies recognize the help provided by Greene County Industrial Development Authority, local government, and Township of Hunter for this project.
