Specialty Concepts offers the MARK Series photovoltaic charge controllers. This photovoltaic charge controller is designed for photovoltaic systems that utilize current of up to 22 amperes. An LCD meter provides data that includes voltage of the battery, charge set point of the controller and also the current utilized by the photovoltaic system. The MARK Series solar charge controller is available in both 24 volt and 12 volt versions. It also has the capability to operate either at high or low temperature conditions.
The MARK Series photovoltaic charge controller comprises features such as lighting protection, conformal coated circuit board, reverse polarity protection, input noise suppression, over current protection, reverse leakage protection and low power consumption. This solar controller from Specialty Concepts is capable of monitoring the current utilized by photovoltaic system, battery voltage and charge setpoints of the system.
The photovoltaic charge controller from Specialty Concepts does not possess minimum operating voltage and can charge a dead battery. It has a low switching frequency, reducing the level of noise that would be produced otherwise. The MARK Series solar charge controller is supplied with a knock-out box that facilitates wall mounting. It operates in temperature conditions ranging from -30 degrees centigrade to 50 degrees centigrade. The storage temperature of the MARK Series photovoltaic charge controller ranges between -40 degrees centigrade and 70 degrees centigrade. Some of the other features include a bargraph battery condition indicator and a fuse protection option on the photovoltaic array as well as the battery.
