LP Hoying manufactures and supplies a range of photovoltaic power products. LP Hoying provides sidewalk solar systems, Sunpole solar systems, large solar systems and water tank solar systems. The HCS-ORN sidewalk solar power system is constructed for use in urban areas for utility system protection and gas distribution. For performing these functions, this solar system needs current up to an ampere.
The solar panel of the HCS-ORN sidewalk solar power system is designed to protect against theft and damage. The control and battery are housed in a NEMA 3R enclosure. This enclosure has two doors having a locking hasp and three-point latch. It also provides space for storing test equipment and large battery. The sidewalk solar power system incorporates a solid-state circuitry and an adjustable potentiometer to control the current. It includes an instrument panel, a standard voltmeter and an ammeter along with compression lugs for solar, battery and load connections.
The side walk solar power system is available in two models. They are: The Reduced Energy during the Nighttime (REN) and Constant Voltage Output. The constant voltage output model provides output for 24 hours a day. The charge regulator or output controller features temperature compensation and load drop. The solar panel is made of multicrystalline cells and is surrounded by metal to avoid access from external forces. The enclosure which houses the battery and control is available in a height of 48 inches, width of 36 inches and depth of 16 inches. There is a heavy-duty steel channel utilized for base mounting.
