AltaTerra Advisors Inc. ("AltaTerra" or the "Firm") is pleased to announce it is officially open for business offering business advisory services exclusively to cleantech companies.
AltaTerra's Managing Director, Mr. Louis Julien Fruchier, stated, "The cleantech sector offers tremendous opportunity with substantial growth potential over the long-term horizon. However, cleantech companies face significant challenges getting to market. Research and development can be slow and expensive and the capital and regulatory requirements to produce and market scalable technology is often onerous. Our aim is to help early-stage cleantech ventures raise capital, commercialize their technologies and establish a strong platform for growth as efficiently and effectively as possible."
AltaTerra's suite of services includes business advisory on strategy, finance and marketing, interim leadership for situations such as spin-offs and turnarounds, and performance coaching for entrepreneurs facing rapid growth. Mr. Fruchier further stated, "Unlike typical generalist consultants, we are entrepreneurs passionate about cleantech focused on helping cleantech entrepreneurs. AltaTerra is already assisting two cleantech client companies. The Firm is helping MSI -- a US-based technology company -- assess opportunities in renewable energy markets. MSI's President and CEO, Mr. Michael A., stated, "Mr. Fruchier's knowledge of cleantech markets combined with his deep experience as an entrepreneur have brought immediate resources to the company in a timely and practical manner.
