Solyndra Enters into Distribution Agreement with DC Power Systems in North America

Solyndra and DC Power Systems have entered into a distribution agreement in North America. Solyndra produces cylindrical photovoltaic systems for applications in commercial rooftops. DC Power Systems, a California based company, is a renewable energy products distributor.

CEO and founder of Solyndra, Chris Gronet, said that DC Power Systems has much experience in renewable energy and are extremely capable of providing a broad range of services and technologies to its customers. Solyndra always seeks only distributors who are innovative such as DC Power Systems to sell its products, Gronet said.

Executive Vice-President of DC Power Systems, Daniel Marino, said that Solyndra’s non-penetrating PV system has a significant cost to output ratio offering its commercial installers an excellent choice. Marino further said by combining the company’s design capabilities and technical support with the flexibility of Solyndra’s modules, the customers are provided with an innovative rooftop solar power solution. The company is delighted to be working with Solyndra, Marino said.
