Green Energy Products offers the PVL-68 PV roofing laminate that is field applied. The rated power of the roofing laminate is 68 watts. This solar roofing laminate can work in a maximum roof temperature of 185 degrees Fahrenheit. It provides good performance even in low sunlight. To tolerate the shadow, the solar laminate is featured with bypass diodes that are connected across each solar cell. The 68-watt PV laminate has a production tolerance of five percent.
The PVL-68 PV roofing laminate consists of 11 amorphous silicon triple junction solar cells that are connected in series. Each solar cell measures 356 x 239mm. The photovoltaic laminate, provided by Green Energy Products, is encapsulated with ETFE polymer that offers high light transmission. The steel pans used for installing the solar laminate should have a flat surface. The steel pans should not have stiffening ribs, pencil beads or decorative stippling. The PVL-68 PV roofing laminate requires steel pan with a minimum width of 16 inches.
The installation temperature range for this PV roofing laminate is 50 – 100 degree Fahrenheit. The PVL-68 solar laminate features voltage at maximum power of 16.5 volts and current at maximum power of 4.1 amperes. The open circuit voltage of the PV roofing laminate is 23.1 volts, while the short circuit current is 5.1 amperes. The dimensions of this solar laminate are 2849mm (length), 394mm (width) and 4mm (depth), with a weight of 8.7 pounds.
