Beyond Oil Solar supplies a range of solar hot water systems. The evacuated tube solar hot water system is equipped with 22 glass tubes or 30 glass tubes. The 30 glass tubes model includes an extra tube system. The component assembly and the manifold frame are integrated into the tube system. This solar hot water system does not include expansion tank, pumps or accessories.
The 22-tube hot water system is designed to supply sufficient hot water for a family of four. Once the frame is fixed to a roof, each tube can be placed into the slot in the manifold and the bottom is fixed to the bottom rail. The evacuated tubes are made of glass, which is similar to the Borosilicate glass. They can be connected with the absorption air conditioners and radiant floor heating systems. The absorber is made of glass and the absorber and head pipes are made of copper without oxygen.
The evacuated tube solar hot water system supply hot water through the collector tubes. The inner black tube in the evacuated tube solar hot water system is heated up by the sunlight. This inner black tube, in turn, heats up the aluminum heat sinks. The glycol, placed inside the copper tube in the aluminum heat sinks, changes into steam and raises to the tube end into the manifold to heat water. Once the heat pipe gets heated up, the heat is transferred into the water that flows through the aluminum manifold. This process produces 40% more hot water compared to a flat plate collector.
