TS-40 Solar Collectors from Techno-Solis

Techno-Solis manufactures different models of solar collectors used in solar hot water systems. The TS-40 solar collector is available with customized absorber plate sizes. The fins and tubes of the thermal collector are made of copper. The copper tubes and sheet are permanently bonded together using a high frequency forge welding process.

TS-40 Solar Collector

The TS-40 solar collector does not feature any crimped or soldered joints. Hence, there is no risk of failure due to expansion and contraction. The aluminum frame of the collector from Techno-Solis is available both in anodized and electrostatic paint finishes. The frame is made of only extruded aluminum. The mounting hardware, used for this thermal collector, is also made of aluminum extrusions. Stainless steel fasteners are used to install the mounting hardware that is available to suit different configurations such as flush roofs, racks and hinged configurations.

The aluminum frame of the TS-40 solar collector does not need to be penetrated to mount it on the hardware. Both the frame and mounting hardware can be interlocked to each other without using any power tools. Simple hand tools are sufficient to join them. If the frames are assembled properly, the system can tolerate a maximum wind pressure of 4kPa. The fluid capacity of the TS-40 solar collector is 1.05 gallons. The overall length and width of the collector are 121 3/16 inches and 50.5 inches, respectively.
