Solar Tracking Systems from Zomeworks

Zomeworks supplies Universal Track Rack passive solar tracking systems suitable for photovoltaic modules. When the sun’s heat moves the liquid from one side to another side, the Track Rack turns and follows the path of the sun light. The solar tracking systems require no gears, motors or controls. The company offers a range of UTR and UTR-F Track Racks to suit all types of photovoltaic modules. These solar trackers are easy to handle and transport.

Solar Tracking System

The solar tracking systems are made of zinc plated hardware and stainless steel. The Universal Track Rack systems are available in six different sizes with adjustments for all directions. The Universal Track Racks are designed to suit all the photovoltaic modules of ASE, BP/Solarex, Kyocera, Evergreen, Uni-Solar, Siemens, PhotoWatt/Matrix, and Astro Power/PV.

The Universal Track Racks increase the photovoltaic modules’ output by 25% or more compared to the fixed mount modules. Zomeworks’ six standard sizes of solar trackers can hold 2 to 16 modules. The solar trackers face west when the sun rises and it heats up the west-side canister that is unshaded and forces the liquid to flow into the east-side canister that is shaded. While the liquid moves to the east-side canister through a copper tube, the trackers rotate to face the east, and in this way trackers move in all directions. With the help of aluminum shadow plates, the liquid heating is controlled. The Track Racks are suitable for industrial and domestic photovoltaic power systems, cathodic protection systems, pumping systems and utility applications. The UTRF 168 tracker is designed with four shock absorbers for better stability.
