TÜV SÜD America Inc. to Provide Greenhouse Gas Validation and Verification Services

TÜV SÜD America Inc. is all set to offer Greenhouse Gas Validation and Verification services under ISO 14065:2007 after achieving accreditation for the same by ANSI.

The standard, which was published on 15 April 2007, defines the requirements and principals for greenhouse gas validation and verification organizations that are used for providing accreditation and other types of recognition. ISO 14065:2007 matches ISO 14064:2006, which is a standard for greenhouse gas accounting and verification introduced in March 2006.

The verification and validation services provided by TÜV SÜD America add assurance and credibility to the claims made regarding the removal and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The standards are not associated with any specific scheme and considered as independent and hence may be utilized by organizations that are taking part in several projects, trading, or voluntary greenhouse gas emissions reduction programs.
