Geothermal Resource Group provides geothermal heat pump installation and energy exploration services. Geothermal heat pump systems, also known as ground source heat pump systems, are utilized as efficient energy technology that provides low maintenance and operating costs. The company installs vertical loops needed for geothermal heat pump systems. Geothermal Resource Group is a member of the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association and has two certified installers, namely, Bill Rickard and Wendell Howard.
The geothermal heat pump system installed by the company is utilized for air conditioning or central heating. It uses energy from the ground for heating or cooling a building. During winter, the geothermal heat pump system transfers the heat from the ground to the building and this process is reversed in summer season. The operational cost for this ground source heat pump system is lower than the conventional HVAC system.
The design options of this geothermal heat pump system include closed loop such as horizontal, vertical and pond versions, open loop, and direct exchange. The heating capacity of geothermal heat pump system installed by the company ranges from 2.4 to 5.0 COP, and the cooling capacity ranges from 10.6 to 30 EER. The heat pump system is an energy efficient and environmentally clean space-conditioning system. It produces low level of greenhouse gases.
