GE Energy produces a range of solar modules such as the GEPVp-205-M photovoltaic module. This solar module is designed for 1000-volt applications. It provides a maximum of 205 watts of power at 27.2 volts. The GEPVp-205-M solar module consists of 54 polycrystalline solar cells that are connected in series. This PV module is suitable for applications in commercial and residential grid-tied solar power systems.
The GEPVp-205-M polycrystalline solar module has a strong frame made of anodized aluminum. This frame consists of pre-drilled holes that facilitate an easy and quick installation. This photovoltaic module, offered by GE Energy, comes with convenient mounting facilities. The junction box included with this solar module is weather resistant. Other components of the GEPVp-205-M PV module include easy-click Solarlok connectors and 1.8 meter cable. This polycrystalline solar module can bear a maximum mechanical load of 2400Pa. It can resist hailstone impact of up to one-inch hailstones falling at a speed of 50 miles per hour.
The open circuit voltage of the GEPVp-205-M solar module is 33.0 volts, while the short circuit current is 8.2 amperes. This photovoltaic module, manufactured by GE Energy, has an output power tolerance of +/-5 per cent. The power voltage is up to 27.2 volts and power current is up to 7.6 amperes. The dimensions of this polycrystalline module are 1485 x 981 x 35mm with a weight of 17.7kg.
