EcoPath Selected Among Top Five Green Products for Retail and Business Interiors

At 2009 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo last year, the products from EcoPath Sustainable Entryway Systems were recognized as the best among Top Five Green Products for Retail and Business Interiors. At the Greenbuild expo this year, EcoPath was selected by ecomii from 1,800 participants exhibiting their sustainable products.  ecomii is an online green and healthy products clearinghouse website.

Jack Lindsay of Engineered Conversion Systems, the producer of EcoPath mats, said the company is delighted for being selected among large number of participants at this year’s Greenbuild. Lindsay further said the company’s green mats are good enough and eligible for LEED certification. The company’s customers ranging from architects to facility managers are realizing the benefits of these mats, which enhances the flooring and appearance of the commercial buildings, Lindsay said.

EcoPath Sustainable Entryway Systems are backed by EnviroCel and BioGrip. EnviroCel comprises recovered, recycled, and renewable materials representing 60% to 70% by weight and BioGrip is a secondary backing made of natural rubber and fully post-consumer recycled material. The EcoPath mats with its non-skid and water resistant barrier helps not only to keep floors clean but also prevents slip-and-fall accidents.
