Versatec Hydronic Series Water-to-Water Heat Pumps from APH Geothermal

APH Geothermal installs geothermal heat pumps manufactured by WaterFurnace. The Versatec Hydronic Series water-to-water heat pump is designed to provide heating and cooling for various applications including radiant floor heating, pool heating, ice melting, and chilled water applications. It is available in four sizes with extended range operation (VX) or standard range operation (VL).

Versatec Hydronic Series Water-to-Water Heat Pumps

The Versatec Hydronic Series water-to-water heat pump incorporates electromechanical controls along with a compressor control module. Its cabinet is completely insulated and is made of heavy gauge galvanized steel with a polyester powder coat finish to resist corrosion. The VX models operate with an entering water temperature from 30 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit and the VL models operate with an entering water temperature from 50 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit. This water-to-water unit is equipped with a copper heat exchanger and an optional cupronickel heat exchanger for efficient performance. Its hermetic scroll compressors provide silent operation.

The Versatec Hydronic Series water-to-water heat pump has an environmentally-friendly HCFC 22. It includes a compressor control module having an anti-short relay and a lockout relay circuit. The V060W heat pump model is available in 30.5 inches x 23.5 inches x 30.5 inches dimensions, and weighs 275 pounds. The components are insulated for protection from moisture. This geothermal heat pump includes microprocessor controls and sound reduction package as options.
