BI-156-60W Multicrystalline Solar Modules from Solar Power Industries

Solar Power Industries manufactures the complete range of solar power product components ranging from silicon ingots to complete solar array systems, including the solar modules. The solar modules, available from the company, come in various power output classes ranging from 60 to 200 watts. The BI-156-60W solar module is a 60-watt module, made of multicrystalline silicon solar cells. Each solar module contains 36 cells that are connected in series.

The BI-156-60W multicrystalline module features anodized aluminum frame construction with tempered glass laminate in the front. This construction protects the module during rough applications. To provide additional protection to the silicon solar cells, this PV module is equipped with two by-pass diodes. The multicrystalline solar module, provided by Solar Power Industries, comprises a junction box that has plug-n-play leads to facilitate easy installation. The BI-156-60W solar module is designed to suit the grid-tied systems with remote battery charging. The manufacturing process of this photovoltaic module is conducted in high quality standard automated production facilities, by using advanced processing technology.

The BI-156-60W solar module measures 778mm in length, 676mm in width and 50mm in depth, while its weight is 714kg. This PV module can withstand a static load of 2400Pa both at front and back. The temperature cycling range of the multicrystalline solar module is -40 to +90 degree Celsius. This photovoltaic module can bear hailstone impact of 25mm steel ball at a speed of 23m/s. The open circuit voltage of this solar module is 21.82V, while the short circuit current is 3.73A.
