Solar Electric Systems supplies Kyocera photovoltaic modules. The KD135GX-LP photovoltaic module is manufactured using 36 multicrystalline solar cells. These solar cells have an energy conversion efficiency of over 16 per cent. Multicrystalline solar cells are encapsulated between a pottant and tempered glass cover. The pottant is available with a back sheet that protects the module from harsh weather conditions. The KD135GX-LP photovoltaic module has an anodized aluminum frame that imparts strength as well as facilitates easy installation. These solar modules are supplied with plug-in connectors.
The photovoltaic module from Solar Electric Systems has length, width and depth of 1503 millimeters, 668 millimeters and 36 millimeters, respectively. The KD135GX-LP module weighs 13 kilograms and is available with cables in sizes of 760 millimeters and 1840 millimeters. The junction box supplied with the module measures 100 millimeters, 108 millimeters and 15 millimeters in length, width and depth, respectively. The KD135GX-LP photovoltaic module operates in temperature conditions ranging from –40 degree centigrade to +90 degree centigrade. The module has a nominal operating cell temperature of 49 degree centigrade.
This solar module produces a maximum power of 135 watts at maximum voltage and current of 17.7 volts and 7.63 amperes, respectively. The short circuit current and open circuit voltage of the KD135GX-LP module are 8.37 amperes and 22.1 volts, respectively. These photovoltaic modules are suitable for grid tie system applications that include water pumping systems, residential rooftop systems and commercial grid tie systems.
