Ecocity Group manufactures geothermal heat pumps for commercial and residential projects. The water-to-air geothermal heat pumps consists of non-ozone depleting 410A refrigerant, a dual stage Copeland scroll compressor, an Electronically Commutated (ECM) motor with a direct drive, a desuperheater, and with a side or top discharge configuration. The desuperheater is used for producing hot water for domestic use. These heat pumps are designed with a strong design to withstand severe climatic conditions.
Boreal water-to-air series, Boreal water-to-water series, Boreal Combo water-to-water/water-to-air series, Boreal water-to-water All-in-one series, Boreal indoor pool conditioner are some of the available geothermal heat pumps from the company.
Boreal water-to-water series heat pumps can be used on a closed ground loop or on an open well system. These pumps are used in applications where hot water is required in large quantities. These water-to-water heat pumps can be used in swimming pool heating and concrete in-floor heating systems. This series of heat pumps consists of dual compressors to provide three stages of capacity to work with higher efficiency. Boreal water-to-water series heat pumps are available in the following capacities: 3 ton with 36,000 BTU, 4 ton with 48,000 BTU, 5 ton with 60,000 BTU, and 6 ton with 72,000 BTU.
