IS3000P BIPV Photovoltaic Modules Manufactured by Istar Solar

Istar Solar manufactures building integration photovoltaic modules. The IS3000P BIPV photovoltaic module is designed using 18 polycystalline solar cells. These frameless solar modules are transparent and have been manufactured using the Ultratron technology. Polycrystalline solar cells used for designing the module have dimensions of 156 centimeters X 156 centimeters respectively. The IS300P BIPV photovoltaic module has the capability to function even during low sunlight. The presence of transparent glass and wide space among the cells facilitate more sunlight to pass through the module.

Polycrystalline solar cells are encapsulated between ethylene vinyl acetate sheets. The IS3000P BIPV photovoltaic module also consists of a four millimeter tempered glass. This tempered glass protects the module from all kinds of climatic and mechanical stress. The building integration photovoltaic module from Istar Solar also has a tedlar back sheet that protects the module from diverse weather conditions. These photovoltaic modules are supplied with two Tyco junction boxes that contain bypass diodes and PG7 cable glands.

The building integration photovoltaic module from Istar Solar weighs 9 kilograms with dimensions of 1306 millimeters X 671 millimeters X 4 millimeters respectively. The IS3000P BIPV photovoltaic module has a power tolerance of +/-5 percent and operates in the temperature ranging from – 40 degree centigrade to +85 degree centigrade. This module produces a maximum power of 70 watts at a maximum current of 7 or 8 amperes. The maximum voltage at which the power is produced by the module is 9 volts or 15 volts.
