Autodesk, Inc., a company engaged in the production of 2D and 3D design, entertainment, and engineering software, has reportedly announced the industrious use of its Autodesk Inventor software by Springboard Biodiesel, a private company engaged in the small-scale biodiesel treating segment.
Springboard utilizes the software for manufacturing its clean tech products within a shorter duration. Springboard Biodiesel is said to have introduced Biodiesel Intelligent Local Production (ILP) to encourage small-scale manufacture of fuel-grade biodiesel from a wide range of resources such as used inferior cooking oil to high-class pure soybean oil. The company updated its ILP by utilizing Autodesk Clean Tech Partner Program by availing grants offered for the clean tech companies in North America.
Springboard is using the Autodesk Inventor software for its mechanical designing processes and utilizes the Autodesk Showcase software for improving its marketing domain. The Autodesk Showcase software is used for generating precise, genuine images of products by utilizing the inbuilt 3D digital prototypes. The created images were used effectively for introducing an innovative product to a likely client or investor even before the actual production of the product, which helps in publicising its products early in their lifecycle and thus boosting the market share.
Mark Roberts, chief executive officer of Springboard Biodiesel explained in detail about how Autodesk Inventor helped Springboard in bringing out effective designs efficiently and allowed them in having a perfect system within a shorter duration.
