Changzhou Trina Solar Energy Partners with Grenzone for Supplying PV Modules

Changzhou Trina Solar Energy Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Trina Solar Limited, has entered into a partnership with system integrator Grenzone Pte Ltd for supplying modules meant for PV assignments in Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. Initial shipment of modules started in March 2010. Trina Solar is a solar photovoltaic (PV) product manufacturer who produces wafers, cells and ingots and also assembles PV modules.

The contract involves Grenzone designing and building a 2.2 MW power plant facility in Thailand’s northwest region. Grenzone is likely to procure around 9,600 PV modules from Trina Solar.

Trina Solar’s Sales and Marketing Director for the Asia Pacific region Ku Jun Heong mentioned that the partnership with Grenzone, an energy efficient solutions and renewable energy player, will garner more visibility for the company’s solar products in markets such as Thailand and Singapore.

Grenzone’s Operation and Project Director Teo Kian Lip commented that the collaboration with Trina Solar helps the company meet its focus on customizing total system performance and life-cycle solution costs by using the modules of Trina Solar.
