Opel Solar provides SF-40 H1 Rooftop Tracker solar module. This module comprises a horizontal type single axis tracker that allows customization of its size to meet the size requirement of a solar thermal module or a photovoltaic panel. The modular design of SF-40 H1 facilitates easy installation of its 485 sq. ft sail area over ventilation turrets and other rooftop obstacles. This solar module is installed over OPEL Sequoia mounting structure that does not need special structural arrangements over roof.
The single axis SF-40 H1 Rooftop Tracker offered by Opel Solar weighs 480 kg and has a vertical height of 1.6 m, length, a width of 2.5 m, a length of 18.5 m and this model withstands a wind speed of 145 kmph. This module has an operating current of 4.0 A, operating voltage of 12 V and consumes 10 Wh/day. The approximate electrical yield of this module is rated as 6300 W.
The SF-40 H1 Rooftop Tracker has networking features such as sharing of a GPS unit for noting precise time and location details, an anemometer to track severe wind conditions, remote supervising and programming. The SF-40 H1 Rooftop Tracker can increase the harvested power from the flat plate panels by 25% than the fixed panels.
