Energy Alternative Solutions produces biodiesel from crops grown locally and waste vegetable oil collected locally. The biodiesel is certified by ASTM and assures non-pollution of air and uninterrupted supply of energy. This biodiesel can be used in school buses, transit systems, government vehicles, marine vessels, and farm equipment. The biodiesel produced by the company is exclusively distributed only through whole sale dealers. BioEASI B100, BioEASI blends of B5, B20 and B99 can be purchased from Coast Oil Company.
BioEASI B100 is biodegradable and clean-burning. BioEASI B100 is an unblended biodiesel made from renewable resources, namely, waste vegetable oil, and virgin vegetable oil. The biodiesel is ASTM D6751-06 certified. The BioEASI B100 can be used in any diesel engine without making any modification to the engine. The lubricating property of the biodiesel eliminates clogging, extends engine life and reduces maintenance costs. As biodiesel is less combustible, it is safer to store, handle and transport. The biodiesel reduces harmful emissions, namely, carbon monoxide and the minute solid and liquid droplets that can pollute the atmosphere.
Energy Alternative Solutions opened its first biodiesel plant in Gonzales, California. The plant runs on a combination of biodiesel and solar power. The plant uses only one unit of energy for every 4.5 units of biodiesel generated. The plant produces 2.5 million gallon of biodiesel every year.
