Bixby Energy offers the Ugly Black Box biomass stove that features both self-diagnostic system and automatic cleaning system.
The biomass stove starts with a press of a button. The stove can be installed to provide heat to one single room, or to entire home through a central venting system. The biomass stove removes ash automatically. The fuel hopper of the stove can be expanded to make a few loading. The large fuel hopper has the capacity to hold 5.4 bushel.
The Ugly Black Box biomass stove is available with 2-bushel extension for fuel hopper. The biomass stove burns wood pellets as well as corn. The cabinet of the stove is made of steel. Other features of the corn fired stove include extra powerful blower, and high output heat vents. The wood pellet burning stove can heat a maximum area of 3,000 square feet. However, the heating capacity of the stove depends on the geographical location of house, climate, floor plan, stove venting, and heat loss.
The Ugly Black Box biomass stove measures 40.5 x 26.5 x 30 inches, with a shipping weight of 400 pounds. The corn fired stove requires a minimum wall clearance and vent pipe clearance of 6 and 2 inches, respectively. The maximum heat output of the biomass stove is 70,000 British thermal units. The wood pellet stove, provided by Bixby Energy, comes in black color finish.
