Frontier Energy provides the BioDiesel that is a natural alternative fuel for vehicles. The biofuel is available in two types, namely, B-20 and B-100. The biodiesel is similar to petroleum diesel and it is suitable for compression-ignition engines such as trucks, boats, cars, and heavy equipment. A maximum of 20 percent of biodiesel can be combined with petroleum diesel fuels for other uses such as boilers, diesel engines, and generators. The blend is also compatible with any type of existing distribution and storage equipment.
The 20 percent BioDiesel and petroleum diesel blend does not need engine modifications. The blend has the ability to provide payload range and capacity equal to diesel. The BioDiesel gives high quality lubricity even at low blend levels. This minimizes the chances of premature breakdown and equipment wear. The biofuel is less toxic and it biodegrades fast. The B-100 BioDiesel minimizes cancer risk, which is caused by diesel exhaust, by 94 percent. Hence, the biofuel is safer to breathe.
The B-20 BioDiesel reduces risk of cancer by 27 percent. The B-100 Biodiesel does not contain sulfur, benzene, or formaldehyde. It helps to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions by about 80 percent. The biodiesel, offered by Frontier Energy, generates 3.24 units of energy for every energy unit used to produce it. If the B-20 biofuel is produced locally, it will minimize the foreign petroleum dependence by 20 percent.
