Illinois Corn Stoves offers the Golden Grain biomass stove that features an automatic shut down cycle. If the stove gets overheated, or the fire goes out, the shut down cycle gets started. The biomass stove features a positive exhaust system that enables the stove to vent the heat horizontally through outside wall. The feed auger system of the biomass stove allows spikes and cob pieces of maximum one inch size to pass through easily.
The Golden Grain biomass stove burns a wide range of biomass fuels, such as whole kernel corn, barley, cherry pits, wheat, wood pellets, and dried distillers grain. The corn fired stove is equipped with a large circulating blower that helps to optimize the heat output. The blower starts automatically, when the air is heated and is ready to be circulated. The biomass stove is designed with a viewing window made of ceramic glass. The glass window is maintained clean by the wind air wash system.
The Golden Grain biomass stove requires a minimum and maximum fuel feed rate of 2 pounds and 18 pounds, respectively for one hour. The standard hopper capacity of the corn stove is 60 pounds, and the capacity of secondary hopper is 250 pounds. The corn fired stove, provided by Illinois Corn Stoves, requires 600 watts, 120 volts of power supply. The biomass stove measures 25 inches wide, 36 inches high and 40 inches deep. The weight of the corn stove along with the secondary hopper is 660 pounds.
