Second Generation Indirectly Fired Gas Turbine Engine Technology

Bevan Dooley from BTOLA tells us about two clean technologies that they have developed. Firstly they have a biomass energy crop that boasts 20 times more energy output compared to the same quantity of canola. Secondly they have a second generation indirectly fired gas turbine engine that uses custom combustion technology and heat exchangers. It uses solid fuels which have the advantages that: it is cheaper; extends the life of the engine and; provides cleaner combustion and less harmful emissions. It runs on solid biomass fuels such as wheat hulls
