ABB Wins Wind Farm Transmission Link Order in Belgium

ABB announced that it has received an order from Belgium-based C-Power to connect a wind farm with the mainland grid. Under the $125 million order, ABB will provide the transmission link for the Thornton Bank wind farm.

Plantation Energy Inks Contract to Supply Biomass Fuel Pellets

Plantation Energy announced that it has entered into a four-year, $70 million deal with the Japan-based trading company, Mitsui, for the supply of biomass fuel pellets. Plantation Energy said that the contract has provided a secure future for its plant in Down Road, which produces and exports wood pellets.
